About Me
- Name: The Melody Censor
- Location: Calgary, Alberta, Canada
Self professed music snob...artist, and art consumer...pop culture admirer...free spirit. I carry my camera with me everywhere I go, and usually use it every day. I know virtually nothing about photography, except that I love it and once in a while something good happens...visual musings I am a designer who appreciates that not all things pleasing to the eye must be painful on the pocket book, or the environment. Beauty comes from all sorts of places, not just fancy design shops or from depleting the earth's resources... Self professed music snob...artist, and art consumer...pop culture admirer...free spirit. I love music, ALMOST any type of music, and love to hear it live especially. I love trying new restaurants...I usually play devil’s advocate when involved in a debate…I have strong beliefs...I am very opinionated and stubbourn...I believe you must give respect to receive it…I knit and sew...I like reading...I don't have cable T.V or satellite... I love movies...I love gardening...I have a domestic side, but don’t want children...I love dogs and cats equally, but would prefer a puppy, cats have too much attitude to compete with...

STEALING HURTS THE MOUSES FEELINGS!
The majority of the photos featured here are taken by me, or of me (in some cases, both)...For the most part I don't mind sharing my pictures, all I want is that you ASK me first. There are certain pictures here that I would prefer not to share, but if you're up front with me I may make an exception. The Mouse thanks you!!

PUSH MY BUTTONS
The beauty of life - as seen in...
an abstract black graffiti rose, a middle age woman sitting cross legged on the side walk planting tulip bulbs, the changing colours of autumn leaves,
free buttons included in indie CD purchases, a rose petal blowing across a city sidewalk, a startled host of sparrows taking flight, the yummy popcorn smell wafting from a movie theatre,
waking up to a cloudless blue autumn sky, homemade cinnamon ice cream,
sitting in sun spots on the carpet like a cat...meow!, sitting outside drinking coffee while listening to "gossiping" little sparrows, the warm fuzzy feeling of reconnecting with an old friend, laughing rather than crying when hurt, new friends, learning something new all on my own, getting packages in the mail,
Lego!, licking the beaters after making frosting...YUM!, being reminded of an old favorite song, Hot air ballons on clear autumn days, Huge fluffy snow flakes!, Giving into temptation every once in a while..., Ice cream cones in November, the tide coming in, Jack O'lanterns along the highwayside,
Being able to turn to my sister with an incredibly stuipid question, and have her answer it without laughing, How petty differences seem to vanish in time, A good talk with a close friend, Dinner out with my sister for no other reason than just because!, coming home to an apartment filled with yummy smells from the slow cooker, Movie night at sister-in-law(to be)'s ...the beauty has faded, A bad day made better by opening the mail box, being reunited with my "glass half-full(ish)",
Corpse Bride on DVD, Mmmm...waffles, waking up to the smiling face of the one I love, hearing (in his voice) that a loved one is doing much better!, Love letters, edemame as a late night snack...YUM!, A clean bill of health, the simplicity of cheese pizza, Musical coincidences..., Drum Circle with co-workers,
Beautiful spring sunlight, my new drum, roasted corn on the cob at a street festival. Yum!, dancing barefoot in the rain, naughty little secrets that bring a smile to the face at the most inoportune moment,
walking in the rain,
