Sometimes one betrays the other? It seems quite often to me, if not
constant. Thanks for the comment. Hank is a little disfigured, he got too big for
the container I have him in and is conforming to the sides of the
dish.

Felicitous sentiment...
"Such a lovely smile"...
etc, etc, etc...
These are simple but fleeting compliments that, although flattering and nice to hear, often mean very little to the complimentor, nor the complimentee. Today I received one of the most ardent commendations that I can remember to date
"You are a strong person"
So simple in it's statement, but eternally powerful in the meaning... Thank-you seems not nearly powerful enough a response to such high esteem, but it is all that I have...Thank-you!

Thanks very much for the kind, Ego-boosting comments you left on my space (your friend didn't want me to visit hers, but I couldn't get into it anyway, but tell her thanks from me). Also, yes, I am 17, and your blog page is pretty cool, too, and hooray for Metric!-Patrick

Wise words...interesting photos
What spirit is so empty and blind, that it cannot recognize the fact that the foot is more noble than the shoe, and skin more beautiful than the garment with which it is clothed?

Urban Artwork photo collection
One of the projects that I have been working on over the last while is a collection of photos of the abundant public art in the central core of the city. I have created an album of some of my favorites on Yahoo photos, if anyone is interested.
