Drunken Christmas coquetry???

Staff Christmas parties...the scene has been depicted repeatedly in movies and stories alike...a slightly inebriated co-worker says something of a sexual nature. The question lies in how do you, or I in this case, respond...by becoming offended and making work relations uncomfortable in the future, or by passing it off as something said under the influence of "holiday cheer"? Typically I believe that alcohol doesn't make one think differently, mearly lowers inhibitions...I think in this situation it is something better forgotten...
