Sunshine on my shoulders - HNT #21
I love my balcony. It's pretty much the only good thing about my apartment. It's over 200 square feet, south facing and higher than most of the buildings in the neighbourhood, so I have a great view...well, it would be great if there were anything around here to see.
It's where I've been spending most of my time the last while. Any chance I get I head out to the balcony witha bookand a cold drink to catch some sun. The idea started because I have ridiculous tan lines from my trip to California and have to have them evened out before July 8th for my brother's wedding. But now the tan lines are sort of an after thought. I have just really been enjoying the sun.
And this afternoon was no exception. As soon as the rain clouds started to blow over, I grabed my book and headed outside.

My friend and I lie out I(I have no problem evening out since I'm indian. I look at the sun and...) but, end up reading so much that the back of our legs are darker than the fronts! Wait, what is that you're reading *grin*?

That's one of the things I miss about living on the ground level, the view. I used to love living high up and looking out over the city. Happy HNT! :)

We had rain rain rain out east - things are finally getting sunny and hot again and now I REALLY wish I had a balcony for my apartment too >.<
I'm making my roommate keep an eye out for anyone who looks like they are moving out above us so that we can snatch up a place with a balcony. ^_~
